Hello, I amKaren Hatfield I'm a licensed LMHCA with 5 years of experience providing TF-CBT, Mindfulness, CBT and behavior counseling to clients in need. I earned my Masters degree from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and I also have my Masters in Health Administration. I have also been a nurse for 20 years prior to changing my field so I have extensive knowledge of both. I've worked in many different clinical settings ever since such as child residential. prison, inpatient and outpatient settings. I am a passionate and empathetic therapist with strong counseling abilities and an understanding of interpersonal familial relationships. I have experience leading clients through substance abuse, trauma and dual diagnosis. Through clinical experience, compassion, and empathy I support and assist those willing to make a positive difference in their lives. I pride myself in providing a safe and supportive space, to work side by side to overcome traumas, and barriers. I specialize in addressing trauma and substance use} .
