Hello, I am Tracie Foster I'm a License Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate, Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Associate in North Carolina. I have one year of clinical experience and over 15 years of working with children and families in the foster care and preventive care system. I work with the group ages of 12 and up. My theoretical approaches are Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, Solution Focus Brief Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. I earned my Bachelors in Paralegal Studies from St. John's University, and my Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Nyack College. I've worked in many different clinical settings ever since. I am a passionate and empathetic therapist with strong counseling abilities and an understanding of interpersonal familial relationships. I have experience leading clients through journaling, positive thinking, positive affirmations, deep breathing methods, psychoeducation. Through clinical experience, compassion, and empathy I support and assist those willing to make a positive difference in their lives. I pride myself in providing a safe and supportive space, to work side by side to overcome traumas, and barriers. I specialize in addressing anxiety, behavior issues, women issues, parenting issues, depression, self-harm, adhd, anger management, opioid addictions.
