Lauren Galvin

Hi there! I'm Lauren Galvin and I'm a Registered Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida. I have my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida and my Master’s degree in Social Work from Boston University. I spent my foundation graduate internship working as a Case Manager for a community-based outpatient mental health facility helping adults and advocating for their needs. I then spent her advanced internship as a School Social Worker for an elementary and middle school, having therapy sessions with students, helping with anxiety, depression, grief and self-esteem. I also worked alongside my student’s parents to go over education needs and how the parent can help support their child. My goal in therapy is to make sure you feel safe and heard in a non-judgmental space, while helping you work towards your identified goals. When I'm out of the office, I'm practicing self-care by spending time with my family, reading, relaxing at the beach, or doing something crafty (like sewing or crocheting).
