Hello, I am Amy Childers! I'm a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 12 years experience providing individual and family counseling to clients in need. I earned my Bachelors in Sociology from UC Riverside and my Masters in Marriage and Family Counseling from the University of Phoenix. I've worked in many different clinical settings ever since. I am a passionate and empathetic therapist with strong counseling abilities and an understanding of interpersonal familial relationships. I have experience leading clients through trauma, anxiety and depressed mood symptoms utilizing CBT, EMDR and Solution Focused therapy interventions. Through clinical experience, compassion, and empathy I support and assist those willing to make a positive difference in their lives. I pride myself in providing a safe and supportive space, to work side by side to overcome traumas, and barriers. I specialize in addressing individuals depressed mood, anxiety and trauma symptoms .
