Hello, I am Esmeralda! I'm a Bilingual in Spanish, licensed Associate Counselor with over 10 years of experience providing trauma-informed and culturally sensitive counseling to clients in need. I earned my Bachelors in Psychology from Rutgers University and my Masters in Psychiatric Rehabilitation Counseling and Clinical Mental Health from Rutgers University. I've worked in many different clinical settings ever since. I am a passionate and empathetic therapist with strong counseling abilities and an understanding of interpersonal familial relationships. I have experience leading clients through trauma, anxiety, work-related issues and interpersonal conflicts. Through clinical experience, compassion, and empathy I support and assist those willing to make a positive difference in their lives. I pride myself in providing a safe and supportive space, to work side by side to overcome traumas and barriers.
