Introduction
Hi! I'm Grace!
I am a clinical social worker specializing in anxiety disorders including generalized anxiety, social anxiety, phobias, panic attacks, obsessive-compulsive disorder, skin-picking/hair-pulling, and body dysmorphia. I also treat depression, self-harm, and chronic suicidality, when appropriate in an outpatient, virtual setting like this. My day job is at an intensive outpatient clinic focused on acute, complex anxiety and dysregulation issues.
I have a collaborative, friendly, relaxed approach, which I find is important in dealing with scary issues such as these! We might even find ourselves laughing and (dare I say) enjoying ourselves. If you feel afraid, doubtful, and uneasy most of the time, or if you find yourself obsessing and ruminating about all the unknowns in this world, I can help.
Working with me is a team process. You can expect lots of skills, tools, homework, and tangible help. This is not the kind of therapy where you'll just talk about your week and I'll sit back and nod silently, though I am a good listener and I do want to hear your story. I show up to session ready to work, so I hope you do too.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me a little bit. This is hard. I'm proud of you! Looking forward to working through things, together.
