Introduction
Hello, I am Erin Samples!
I am a Licensed Social Worker with over 10 years of experience working with a diverse population of individuals, including 7 years of client centered, strength based talk therapy to clients in need.
I earned my Bachelors degree in Forensic Psychology at John Jay College of Criminal Justice and my Masters in Social Work at Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College. I've worked in many different clinical settings ever since. I am a passionate and empathetic therapist with strong counseling abilities and an understanding of interpersonal familial relationships. I have experience leading clients through challenging and sometimes traumatic life experiences, parenting support and family dynamic challenges. Through clinical experience, compassion, and empathy I support and assist those willing to make a positive difference in their lives. I pride myself in providing a safe and supportive space, to work side by side to overcome traumas, and barriers. I specialize in working with BIPOC individuals, child and families, addressing family challenges, individual struggles and provide parental support. I am fully committed to listen and offer my best professional practices to help you.
I take your concerns and this profession very seriously. You can count on my empathetic and person-centered approach towards every conversation we take part on. Thank you for taking the first step and for allowing me to partner with you on this very important journey.
