Hi, my name is Mary Norwood! I am a Licensed Master Social Worker, and have 5 years of experience in CBT therapy to clients in need. I earned my Bachelor Degree in Psychology, and my Master Degree in Social Work both from Albany State University. I've worked in many different clinical settings. I am a passionate and empathetic therapist with strong counseling abilities and understanding of interpersonal familiar relationships. I have experience leading clients through dealing with depression, anxiety using CBT therapy. I have facilitated anger management and grief support groups. Through clinical experiences, compassion, and empathy I support and assist those who is willing to make a positive difference in their lives. I pride myself in providing a safe and supportive space, to work side by side to overcome traumas and barriers. I am fully committed to listen and offer my best professional practices to help you.
