**Cover Letter**   I’ve been in private practice, my counseling center for 25+ yrs., and still love the work :) I am very fortunate to feel that way after all these years. I’m very knowledgeable about the psychology/mental health disorders. However, I lean toward a nontraditional treatment/healing style, using Mindfulness based Cognitive therapy, meditations that I create specific to a clients particular challenges, the same with visualizations, Buddhist Psychology, Byron Katie techniques (helping people become less codependent and more self-empowered), Spiritual psychotherapy, Tapping, humor is a big part to help a person change a perspective, Healing energies with mediations/visualization, healthy diet, exercise & yoga, connecting with nature and I give homework/statements said in each session that resonate with client to take home, read over daily. Of course, I only use techniques that the client feels comfortable with or has requested. If they are Christian/Catholic and would like to include prayer than I can do that too. Writing Affirmations, Mantra’s prayers for a client are one my favorite techniques. And books, YouTube, audible books, are recommended as well. The populations I serve are age 15-90, codependent issues, couples, LGBQT, addiction(s), life transition, anxiety & depression to name a few. My fee per session is $150 so I am looking and hoping I can secure a contract close to that.  Thanks for your time, Lisa Terry LCSW
