Introduction
Hello, I am Taylor! First of all, I am proud of you for taking the first step to seek out therapy. I know it can be difficult to decide if therapy is the right choice for you, but I assure you that I am here to guide, support, and empower you through this journey! A little about me, I am a Licensed Master Social Worker with 1 year of experience providing counseling services. I have experience providing youth, adult, and family services to those that have experienced trauma, domestic/family violence, substance misuse, along with a wide range of mental health diagnoses. I am currently being supervised by an LCSW as I am working towards upgrading my license. This means that I will have plenty of support along the way to provide you with the best therapeutic experience possible. I earned my Master of Social Work from The University of Texas at Arlington, but I am originally from Ohio which is where I earned my undergraduate degree. I have worked in different therapeutic settings which gives me experience in many areas. I provide an informal and friendly atmosphere for my clients as this is something that has helped me through my own personal journey in therapy. However, I am here to help you figure out what is best for you and can be a support in different ways as well. I pride myself on being an empathetic, friendly, understanding, patient, and accepting person/therapist. I will always provide a safe and supportive space to help you navigate and overcome past traumas, current stressors, relationship and/or family conflicts, or to simply maintain mental stability throughout day to day life. I am here for you, and am fully committed to continue that mindset throughout our work together. Choosing therapy is the first step to choosing yourself, and choosing to better your life. I sincerely thank you for allowing me to be a part of this very important journey in your life. I look forward to meeting you, talk to you soon!
