Hello, I’m Jennifer I’m a Licensed General Social Worker with 1 year of experience providing Therapy to clients in need. I have 15 years experience in the Social Work field providing services to children and families. I earned my Bachelors in Social Work from Concord University(2008) and my Masters in Social Work from West Virginia University(2021). I’ve worked in many different clinical, community and school based settings. I am a passionate and empathetic therapist with strong counseling abilities and an understanding of interpersonal family relationships. I have experience leading clients through goal planning and implementation, trauma focused cognitive behavior therapy, grief therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, working through grief, stress, anxiety, depression and trauma. Through clinical experience, compassion, and empathy I support and assist those willing to make a positive difference in their lives. I pride myself in providing a safe and supportive space, to work side by side to overcome traumas, and barriers. I specialize in talk therapy, psycho education, TF-CBT, CBT. I believe in using a mesh of modalities to find what helps you best, one size does not fit all. I am fully committed to listening and offering my best professional practices to help you.
