Hi, I’m Christine Cherry! I’m a Licensed Master Social Worker with 4 years of experience providing CBT and DBT to clients in need. I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. I conducted my internship at HOPE Counseling of Texas, was offered a position upon graduation, and have been there ever since. I have a passion for helping others and believe in client-centered treatment. I have experience leading clients through mindfulness and grounding techniques, boundary setting, and behavior modification. Through clinical experience, compassion, and empathy I support and assist those willing to make a positive difference in their lives. I pride myself in providing a safe and supportive space, to work side by side to overcome traumas and barriers. Again, I use CBT and DBT to address the needs of my clients. I am fully committed to listening and offer my best professional practices to help you. I am open-minded and believe in transparency with my clients. You can count on my empathetic and client-centered approach towards every conversation we take part on. Thank you for taking the first step and for allowing me to be part of this very important journey. I look forward to meeting you!
