Ramona Charles

Hey! I'm Ramona! I'm an English-speaking, African-American, licensed professional counselor with more than 10 years of experience in the mental health field, recently providing 2 years of private practice counseling to clients in need. I earned my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. Also have worked as a certified work/life wellness coach. I've worked in many different clinical settings ever, but have now been in private clinical practice for the past 2 years since receiving my degree and licensure. I am a passionate and empathetic therapist with strong counseling abilities and an understanding of interpersonal familial relationships. I have experience leading clients through challenges with depression, anxiety, work/life balance, stress management, and managing other negative emotional responses. Through clinical experience, compassion, and empathy I support and assist those willing to make a positive difference in their lives. I pride myself in providing a safe and supportive space, to work side by side to overcome challenges, traumas, and barriers. I specialize in addressing providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (with some DBT and Emotionally Focused techniques as well).
