Hi! My name is Amanda. I am a Licensed Social Worker with a Master’s degree in Social Work from Indiana Wesleyan University. I have 5+ years of experience in social service positions, most of which have been working with family and children. I have also taught several group sessions of parenting classes, as well as worked with the geriatric population.  I enjoy working with individuals and families to navigate the challenges of life, whether they are personal, with family, or with peers. My areas of interest include anxiety, depression, trauma, sleep problems, transitions and adjustments, identity development, grief processing, parenting skills, and family communication.  I believe I have a positive approach, utilizing various theoretical approaches, behavioral neuroscience, and real life experience. Additionally, I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I look forward to meeting with you.
