Roman Venegas

I have over 15 years combined experience in the field of health human services and social work serving those with addiction, chronic and severe mental health barriers, homeless persons and families, persons with HIV and STD’s, persons of the LGBTQIA + community, veterans, couples and families. Roman believes in the intrinsic value, dignity, worth and full truth of the human person. His treatment specialties include mood disturbances, substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, crisis, stress management, relationships, Illness Management and Recovery of Persons with severe mental illness and crisis intervention. I am trained and skilled in the use of several therapies modalities to include: Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy for Psychosis, Cognitive Adaptation Training, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. Being vulnerable is one of the most difficulty challenges that any individual can face, but vulnerability empowers us to face our most difficult barriers.
