Introduction
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate in Washington State. I believe that every person is deserving of love, kindness, freedom, and joy. My work is rooted in a person-centered approach aimed to gain understanding of who you are, what you need, and what is holding you back from living a full and happy life. Originally from New York, I‘ve been living in Washington since 2015. I received a BA degree from Binghamton University in Theater and a Master's Degree in Expressive Arts Therapy, with a minor in psychology, from The European Graduate School in Saas-Fee, Switzerland. At EGS, I was trained and mentored by the founders and pioneers of expressive arts therapy, allowing for a rich and deep understanding for the craft. Throughout my 8 years experience in the mental health field, I have also received extensive training in a variety of treatment modalities such as CBT, DBT, and ACT. I started my journey working with clients in rehabilitation after experiencing a TBI. When I moved to WA, I worked in community health, serving clients in acute mental health crisis. From 2020-2023, I was a therapist at The Emily Program, where I specialized in the treatment of severe eating disorders. I specialize in eating disorders, anxiety, PTSD, depression, and perinatal mental health.
