Hello, I am Barbara Thomas! I'm an English speaking licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with over 30 O years of experience providing Mental Health Therapy services and counseling to clients in need. I earned my Bachelors in Social Work from Cleveland State University and my Masters in Business Administration of Social Work from The Ohio State University. I've worked in many different clinical settings ever since. I am a passionate and empathetic therapist with strong counseling abilities and an understanding of interpersonal familial relationships. I have experience leading clients through treatment modalities such as CBT, TF-CBT, DBT, Coaching, Mindful Based Cognitive Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Strength Based and Anger Management Behavioral Interventions. Through clinical experience, compassion, and empathy I support and assist those willing to make a positive difference in their lives. I pride myself in providing a safe and supportive space, to work side by side to overcome traumas, and barriers. I specialize in providing evidenced based therapeutic services which includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Strength Based Therapy and AMB interventions. I am fully committed to listen and offer my best professional practices to help you. I am an excellent listener who is comfortable with talking to all types of people.
