Taryne Knott

Hello, my name is Taryne! I'm a Licensed Social Worker with a certification in Clinical Anxiety Treatment. I have been working in the field of mental health for over 7 years and working as a therapist for the last 2 years.  I earned my Bachelors in of Science in Psychology from Kentucky Wesleyan College and my Masters in Science of Social Work from the University of Louisville. I’m currently in the process of obtaining my Doctorate of Social Work from Spalding University. I am a passionate and empathetic therapist with strong counseling abilities and an understanding of interpersonal familial relationships. In my practice, I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy techniques to help my clients reach their desired goals. Through clinical experience, compassion, and empathy I support and assist those willing to make a positive difference in their lives. I pride myself in providing a safe and supportive space, to work side by side to overcome traumas and barriers. I specialize in addressing fears, anxiety, and childhood trauma.
