Hello, I am Terria!

I'm an African Americal, english speaking, licensed Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern with 7 years of experience providing Mental Health counseling to clients in need.

I earned my Bachelors degree in Psychology from Old Dominion University and my Masters degree in Forensic Psychology with Clinical Counseling LIcensure Eligibilty from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I have worked in many different clinical settings ever since. I am a southern bell with a splash of city bite. I come from a military family so I have been fortunate to travel the world and meet a wide range of amazing people. I am loving, caring, understanding, and I will always meet a person where they are at. I’m passionate about my job and I love what I do. I’m blessed to be a therapist and it’s always a great day to save lives.

I have experience leading clients through CBT, DBT, TF-CBT, and art therapy. Through clinical experience, compassion, and empathy I support and assist those who are willing to make a positive difference in their lives. I pride myself in providing a safe and supportive space, to work side by side to overcome traumas, and barriers. I specialize in addressing CBT, DBT, TF-CBT therapy with young adults, teens, people of color, and the LGBTQIA+ population . I am passionate about withking with QPOC and minorities. I am fully committed to listen and offer my best professional practices to help you.

I am funny, witty, able to just sit in silence if need be, and I'm also spiritual if you want to speak about that . I am a naturally creative person and you can count on my empathetic and person-centered approach towards every conversation we take part in.
