LMFT

My philosophy on therapy is that it is a journey whether it is your first experience, or you are coming back for a tune up within your life. I have worked within clinical practice for over 11 years. My experiences are with clients in crisis counseling, inpatient mental health facilities, outpatient/inpatient addictions treatment and various correctional facilities, attachment injuries, addictions, grief and ambiguous losses, relationships, sexual issues, anxiety and multicultural family systems.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and specialized in addiction studies and criminal justice having almost ten years’ experience within forensic psychology. I am well versed in providing clinical therapy for families from diverse backgrounds, persons with addictions, mental health challenges, children, adolescence and issues within sexuality. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client Centered Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Attachment Therapy and Family Systems framework. I am flexible and able to adjust my techniques to meet the unique needs of my client. Therapy is not a one size fits all. I am of the belief that everyone can change, resolve conflict, be a better version of themselves and most importantly HEAL.
