Sandra Tippen

Hello, I am Sandra Tippen!

I'm a licensed clinical social worker with 15 years of experience providing counseling to clients in need of therapeutic intervention. I earned my Masters in Social Work from Tulane University and I am currently a student in Tulane’s Doctorate of Social Work program.

I've worked in many different social work settings throughout my career, including people who are involved in the juvenile justice system, adult penial system, and child protective services. I am skilled in working with children who have school related issues and mental health challenges. Social Work to me is a passion and a calling. I sincerely love working with clients to help them reach their goals and persevere through challenges and hardships.

Through our therapeutic relationship, I will provide an empathic stance and support where you will feel comfortable discussing traumatic events and/or and barriers that may have hindered your personal growth.  Thank you for taking the first step and for allowing me to be part of this very important journey.
