Hello, I am Mercy McCord!

I'm am fully bilingual in Spanish and English. I can speak, write and read in both language. I am licensed as an Associate Social Work License and working towards my LSW. I have 6 years working in the mental health counseling field but 10 years in Human Services. I provide Trauma Processing Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Informed Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

I earned my Bachelors in Criminal Justice from New Jersey City University and my Masters in Social Work from Kean University. I've worked in many different clinical settings ever since. I am a passionate and empathetic therapist with strong counseling abilities and an understanding of interpersonal familial relationships. I have experience leading clients through Individual talk therapy, children therapy and family therapy. Through clinical experience, compassion, and empathy I support and assist those willing to make a positive difference in their lives. I pride myself in providing a safe and supportive space, to work side by side to overcome traumas, and barriers. I specialize in addressing individual, family and children therapy . I am fully committed to listen and offer my best professional practices to help you.
