Therapy can seem different or intimidating at times, but it doesn’t have to be. I aim to create a thoughtful connection and help reduce any apprehensions by maintaining a relaxed demeanor, displaying genuine interest, and continually striving for authenticity.

The process of therapy can help individuals, or couples become unstuck. We all experience patterns of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Gaining insight into these patterns helps us discover where change is necessary. Enacting change is always up to the individual or couple, but my goal is to help you get there to take charge.

My therapy style is client-centered, which means I practice acceptance, genuineness, and empathic understanding. Utilizing this approach also means that each client is the expert on their experience.

I am a Masters's Level Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and have over fifteen years of experience working with a wide diversity of clients and issues. I’ve worked at clinics, had my private practice, and worked as a therapist for enlisted NAVY and their spouses.

One of my specialties includes helping people overcome trauma-related issues. Trauma can come in many forms but is often one of the reasons we get stuck. I have extensive knowledge and experience helping clients reduce symptoms related to Depression and Anxiety. All studies are pointing to higher rates of both of these during these trying times. Another specialty of mine is working with men and men’s related issues, especially surrounding relationships. I also have experience with addiction-related issues, domestic violence, parenting, and more. Although these are some of my specialties, my experience has been extremely wide-ranging, so please consider me for a consultation.
