Hi, I'm Max!
LGBTQ+, military/veterans, first responders, immigrants (English not their first language)
I am a licensed mental health therapist who provides psychotherapy caring, respectful, and non-judgmental manner. I offer services to those who need support for emotional difficulties, psychological issues, and life challenges. I provide evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and other modalities that work for you. My goal is to provide a space where you can feel safe so that you may explore personal challenges; while doing so, I emphasize the importance of connection and understanding. Working together, we will examine your goals and identify how to achieve them. We can uncover your past traumas and discover unresolved conflicts. The therapeutic relationship we build will encourage self-awareness and autonomy, which will empower you to confront your challenges with new skills and healthier strategies.
I am a psychotherapist who has lived and worked across many cultures. I understand the difficulties that can arise from language and cultural barriers based on my personal experience as an immigrant. Born and raised in Belarus and now my Russian language enables an opportunity to provide support in Ukraine. I am a US Army veteran who is skilled in understanding the unique needs of veterans. I am a queer therapist and I help people in the LGBTQ+ community to find their true authentic selves. For several years I facilitated psychoeducational and clinical groups that encompass emotion comprehension-regulation, goal acquisition, interpersonal communication, conflict resolution, developing boundaries, building resiliency, overcoming procrastination, relapse prevention, stress management, healthy living, sleep hygiene, and overcoming adversity.
