LMSW

Greetings!

I am a licensed social worker/therapist with 8 years experience providing sexual trauma, eating disorder, addiction, depression, Autism, PTSD, anxiety, anger management, and military counseling to clients in need; both in an acute inpatient setting, partial hospitalization program, intensive outpatient program, and individual counseling.

I earned my Bachelors in Social Work from University of Texas at Arlington, my Masters in Social Work with a focus in mental health and addiction from University of Texas at Arlington, and am currently pursuing my PhD in General Psychology from Capella University. I am very passionate about this field and any clients I serve. I am an empathetic and passionate therapist with strong counseling abilities and understanding interpersonal familial relationships and psychosocial stressors. Through my clinical experience, compassion, and empathy I support and assist those who are willing to make a positive change in their lives. I pride myself in providing a safe, non-judgemental and supportive milleu; we will work side by side to enable you to cope in a healthy way and overcome traumas, issues, stressors, and barriers. I specialize in sexual trauma, eating disorder, addiction, depression, Autism, PTSD, anxiety, anger management, and military counseling. I am fully committed to listen and offer my best professional practices to aid you in your time of need.

I am very easy to get to know and feel comfortable with. I am a very blunt therapist, but have been told blunt in a nice way. I feel a person needs to hear the truth and not have it sugar coated. You can count on my empathetic and person-centered approach towards every conversation we take part in. Thank you for taking the first step, asking for help, and for allowing me to be a positive part of your journey to a healthy mental state.

Thank you and I look forward to meeting you.
