Hello, I am Katy,

I'm a Bilingual (Spanish) licensed LMSW with 3 years of experience providing Individual and Group Counseling to clients in need.

I earned my Bachelor's in Psychology from Syracuse University and my Masters's in Clinical Social Work from Columbia University. I've worked in many different clinical settings ever since. I truly believe in the power that the therapeutic relationship can have in creating lasting change from the inside out. I utilized various therapeutic techniques such as CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solutions Focused therapy all while being strength-based.

I have experience leading clients through anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, relationship issues, etc. Through clinical experience, compassion, and empathy I support and assist those willing to make a positive difference in their lives. I pride myself in providing a safe and supportive space, to work side by side to overcome traumas and barriers.

I am energetic, compassionate, and holistic in my approach. You can count on my empathetic and person-centered approach toward every conversation we take part in. Thank you for taking the first step and for allowing me to be part of this very important journey.
