LMSW
Making the decision to get help for your mental wellbeing is incredibly important and brave. I am here to support and assist you on your path to a better, more fulfilled life. I take a person centered holistic approach to therapy in which we consider all aspects of your life.
I am passionate about working with individuals with disordered eating and body image disturbances. I have extensive experience working with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, and stress. I have a special interest in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and apply it in my practice regularly. Through ACT, I can help you learn to experience your emotions and thoughts in a different way, so you are no longer struggling with them. Each person is unique and I am familiar with several different approaches to therapy and will tailor your sessions to what you are currently experiencing.
I graduated from Case Western Reserve University with my Masters of Social Science Administration, which is equivalent to a Masters of Social Work, and have obtained my LMSW. I am under the supervision of a LCSW-S.
I am continuously learning about the treatment and effects of trauma and keeping up to date with evidence-based practices including working on being certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
I am excited to get to meet you and work collaboratively to achieve your goals so you can live a life of meaning and purpose.
