Hello, I am Julie Sonye.

I am a Register/License as an Associate Mariage Family Therapist with 17 years of experience providing Dialectic Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Person Centered, Solutions focused, Structural Family Therapy, and counseling to clients in need. I earned my Bachelor's in Science in Psychology from Campbell University and a Masters of Science in Counseling Psychology and Masters of Religious Studies from Southern California Seminary. I have worked 16 years in a Crisis Center working with clients from Depression to Schizophrenia and client's with substance issues, and 5 years in a private practice specializing in Dialectic Behavior therapy including clients with Borderline Personality Disorder also worked with adolescence , adults, couples and groups. I worked 4 years in a residential for troubled teens. I am passionate and empathic therapist with strong counseling abilities and an understanding of interpersonal Familial relationships. Through clinical experience , compassion , and empathy I support and assist those willing to make a positive difference in their lives and a life worth living.

I pride myself in providing a safe and supportive space, wo work side by side to overcome traumas and barriers, I specialize in addressing clients with most mental health needs, including Borderline Personality.

I fully am committed to listen and offer best professional practices to help you. You can count on m empathic, trust, and person centered approach towards every conversation we take part on.
