Jody Gardner

Hello, I am Jody!

I'm a Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW) with 8 years of experience working in community mental health providing solution focused and cognitive behavioral therapy to those in need.
I also hold a bachelors and masters in Health Education and Behavior from the University of Florida and I am currently receiving my PhD in social work from the University of Houston. My approach to therapy is collaborative, strengths-based, and person-centered. I believe in exploring everyone's unique strengths and vision for themselves and using this as the framework that will guide our sessions.
Through clinical experience, compassion, and empathy I support and assist those willing to make a positive difference in their lives. I pride myself in providing a safe and supportive space, to work side by side to overcome traumas, and barriers. I specialize In tackling the needs of each individual by utilizing cognitive behavioral and solutions focused therapy. I am fully committed to listen and offer my best professional practices to help you.
