Jessica Weisz holds a Master of Science in School Counseling from Capella University and a Graduate Certificate in Mental Health Counseling from South Dakota University. She is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in California and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Montana. She is a Nationally Certified Counselor.

Therapy for Jessica is not a “one size fits all” experience. She draws from several different evidence-based approaches to effectively address emotional and behavioral issues for clients from diverse backgrounds. She is passionate about clinical work and specializes in education and treatments for coping with stress, family dysfunction, trauma, sexual abuse, grief, relationships, anger issues, anxiety, depression, and PTSD. She uses Solution-focused therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Reality Theory, DBT, REBT, mindfulness practices, and meditation skills.

Jessica has always been drawn to listening and helping others persevere and heal. She wants to partner with her clients in their healing and to understand how powerful their minds are, and how mind and body are connected.

During the therapy process, Jessica’s goal is to aid clients in discovering their strengths, increasing positive coping skills, building support systems, and developing healthy lifestyles to set the foundation for life success. Her approach helps to identify negative thought patterns, learn and understand where they come from, and work to change them. She does this everyday to help design a plan for mind, body, and spirit to heal people’s past, create the future they want, and optimize their overall mental fitness.

Jessica grew up in the suburbs of Los Angeles in a loving and caring home. Life wasn’t short of its troubles and struggles, but she persevered. Her childhood shaped her desire to help others rise above struggles and thrive. She was always the friend who was willing to understand and listen. Due to her childhood, she has extensive inside knowledge and experience with PTSD, anxiety, and depression.

When she isn’t working, Jessica loves reading, spin classes, dogs, rabbits, yoga, meditation, coffee and tea. She loves spending time with her family and hanging out with her friends.

She looks forward to the opportunity of helping you discover your true potential and happiness.
