Jennifer Freeman

Hi! My name is Jennifer Freeman. I am a licensed professional counselor in the Commonwealth of Virginia. My interest in mental health started as a young child visiting a family member who was in and out of the hospital. I saw just blank expressions on the faces of the patients and knew that there had to be a better way to support individuals with mental health issues.
My clinical focus is on supporting children, adolescents, and young adults as they cope with the daily stressors of life. I enjoy working with clients in order to find their true potential and train them to use coping skills to help them manage their stresses. I enjoy working with clients and their families with significant stressors, conflicts at home,
I have a high level of respect for my clients and their values. I work with them on individual treatment including techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and behavioral modification. I look forward to meeting you and your family! I value a strong client/therapist/parental relationship and I am free from judgment.
