Jenifer has a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico and received her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Webster University. After graduate school, Jenifer worked providing outpatient services for diverse populations, and for correctional institutions, in special housing such as close management, confinement, death row, and reception center, providing case management, crisis intervention, PREA, post-use of force, individual and group counseling, and psychological evaluations.
Jenifer has experience working with a variety of issues, including trauma, adjustment/life changes, anxiety disorders, and personality disorders has experience collaborating with professionals on multidisciplinary teams in a variety of settings and working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Jenifer utilizes evidence-based approaches such as DBT, CBT, CPT, and TF-CBT to assist her client in developing resilience skills, mindfulness skills, and self-awareness. Jenifer is passionate about helping her clients to live meaningful lives.
Jenifer loves music, dance, reading, and spending time with her family.
