Jaime Corral


Hello, I am Jaime Corral. I am a driven, bilingual (written/verbal fluency) Licensed Therapist (LCSW) problem solver with an impeccable record of providing Mental Health Services (Therapy). For many years, I have been recognized for my collaborate efforts within the community and my ability to build strong partnerships, as well as strong organizational skills and external relationship building abilities.

Second, I have great case management and clinical skills. I have worked as a contracted clinician for over 12 years at Children’s Bureau and LA County Department of Mental Health. I have been trained and have utilize Evidence Base Practice (EBP) modalities to address multiple mental health needs, including crisis intervention, depression, anxiety, primarily to families, couples and adults. During this time, I provided both individual and family therapy to mostly Spanish speaking clients. In addition, before obtaining my degree, I was a member of the Department of Mental Health’s Crisis Intervention Unit. I was part of an evaluation team that assessed and provided crisis intervention services to children, youth and families. I am certified as a Managing and Adapting Practices (MAP) therapist and trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT).

Finally, I am an energetic team player who has great people and clinical skills and can handle stress well. I am committed to standing by my values and principles. I am a strong believer in social justice. I believe that through advocacy, support and guidance we can empower and advocate for the well- being and growth of those most in need. I’ve worked with many different clinical settings. I am a compassionate and empathetic therapist with strong clinical abilities and understanding of interpersonal familial relationships. I have experience leading clients through Trauma, Grief, Depression and other Life Changing Experiences impacting their lives. Through clinical experience, compassion, and empathy I support and assist those willing to make a positive difference in their lives. I pride myself in providing a safe and supportive space, to work side by side to overcome traumas, and barriers. I specialize in addressing Child and Adolescent Issues, Trauma, Crisis Intervention, Individual (adult and children), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy. I am fully committed to listen and offer my best professional practices to help you. I am culturally sensitive, attentive and compassionate. You can count on my empathetic and person-centered approach towards every conversation we take part on.
