Gabi Deak

Hello! My name is Gabi L. Deak, Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Psychotherapist (LCSW). My College degree was in Psychobiology, so I have an extensive background in the biology of the brain and in understanding not only the brain, but, also the mind. I studied the biology of mental disorders as well as the psychology. I have a pretty extensive experience in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) which I was trained to do at the UCLA Anxiety Disorders Clinic with top professors in the field. I also trained in Schema Therapy, which is an adjunct therapy that goes beyond CBT and it traces the background and origins of mental disorders. Both types of therapy are extremely effective in treating such disorders as all of the Anxiety Disorders, Depression, ADHD, and Personality Disorders. The kind of therapy that does not waste time on just the history of the client, but, rather the most effective tools that yield great results.
