I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida with over 20 years of experience in the mental health field. I am fluent in Spanish and English, providing individual and family therapy to children and adults in need. My academic backgrounds involved earning my Bachelor's degree in Science from the Pontifical Catholic University in Puerto Rico and completion of my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. Since then, I've worked in various clinical settings. Some of my strengths are that I have patience, compassion, empathy towards others and a rapport and a great understanding of interpersonal and familial relationships assisting those who will make a difference in their lives. My therapeutic skills involved being open to different counseling methods and strategies, incorporating them into my personal counseling techniques and approaches. I provide my clients with a safe and supportive environment, working with them to overcome weaknesses, traumas, and any barriers that are preventing them from moving on into a healthy lifestyle.
