Howdy, I’m Clint!
I am strongly committed to developing mutual empathy and connection through antiracist and feminist practices.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with four years of experience counseling folks through a variety of life challenges and transitions.
I earned my Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Texas Wesleyan University in 2014 and my Master’s of Counseling from Saybrook University in 2019. I’ve worked in many different clinical settings with diverse clients since. I have witnessed stunning transformations in those I’ve served and believe in every person’s capacity to recover and heal within the safety of a strong therapeutic relationship.
I have experience supporting clients in their recovery from depression, anxiety, trauma, major life adjustments, grief, and addiction using a holistically integrated counseling approach rooted in the humanistic-existential tradition. Those close to me and the people I’ve worked with would describe me as calm, patient, and honest. My style of counseling is characterized by warmth, empathy, and unconditional positive regard for each person I encounter, and I believe that meaningful change and growth occur through genuine connection with others. Along the way, we can also work on developing your knowledge, skills, and abilities to face life’s challenges as they come.
I look forward to joining you on your journey.
