Hello, I'm Cheryl! I'm a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern with eight years of professional counseling experience with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, addiction and trauma, who desire to achieve mental and physical health and wellness. I earned my Bachelors degree in Psychology at Central Connecticut State University and a Master's in Industrial Organization Psychology from Baruch College, The City University of New York. Additional graduate education in counseling has been obtained through Walden University. I have worked in many different settings including Residential treatment, outpatient and Telehealth. I am passionate about helping you achieve your goals and live the life you imagine. We do this together, in the context of a safe, therapeutic alliance. I specialize in a person centered approach employing brief psycho-analytic therapy designed to draw upon your strengths in combination with cognitive-behavioral coping skills. I am attentive, compassionate and enthusiastic about the possibilities life holds for each of us and would be honored to assist you in your journey to wellness.
