Chelsea Palma

LMHC

Hello, my name is Chelsea Palma and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida
providing therapy to individuals and couples. I earned my Master’s degree in counseling from the
University of Central Florida and a Master’s degree in psychology from Boston University. Over the
years I have worked with clients ranging in ages from children to adults in different therapeutic
environments including in-home therapy, private practice, and community mental health. I specialize in
helping individuals who are experiencing anxiety, relationship issues, grief, low self-esteem, low self-
worth, substance abuse, and stage of life changes. Through clinical experience, empathy, and
compassion I support and assist those looking to find their sense of purpose, regain confidence, and
make a positive change in their lives. I use an integrative and holistic approach to therapy to ensure
each client receives an individualized experience. I use a variety of evidenced-based modalities in
therapy sessions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
(ACT), Solution-Focused, Client-Centered therapy, and Gottman Method for Couples. Collaboratively, we
will create a plan uniquely designed to meet your individual or relationship goals. Thank you for taking
this first step and for allowing me to part of this very important journey. I look forward to meeting you!
