I am licensed in Louisiana with 25 years of professional work experience. I earned my Master of Social Work Degree From Southern University at New Orleans in 1997. I have worked with foster and adoptive families, in juvenile detention centers, in hospitals, in hospice settings, and most recently a school social worker. I have helped youth and adults deal with issues such as anger management, sex education, PTSD, peer relationship issues, coming out issues, discrimination issues, gender identity issues, suicide ideation, developmental issues, special education support, ADHD, self-esteem issues, assertiveness training, anxiety reduction and coping skills, career counseling, parental issues surrounding divorce and separation, relationship issues, trauma, abuse, and coping with grief and loss. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you.
