Casey Kaiser

Hello and welcome! My name is Casey (She/They). I am a Licensed Master Social Worker with 5 years of experience in the mental health field. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a specialization in Human Development and Family Science and also my Masters in Social Work with a specialization in Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder at The Ohio State University - as I am originally from Ohio. I have worked in a variety of settings and no matter the setting, I focus on the holistic view of the person – taking the family, community, and larger overall view into consideration. I have worked with folks on a number of concerns including addiction, anxiety, dual diagnosis, mood disorders, life transitions, relationship issues, school issues, self-esteem, suicidal ideation, sexuality concerns, and trauma. I have also gained experience with many age groups and identities, I am LGBTQ+ affirming, culturally sensitive, and actively works to gain understanding of marginalized communities. Though always utilizing trauma informed care, I am currently working toward becoming more specialized in trauma work while utilizing an eclectic approach with pieces of cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, humanistic therapy, and a focus on increasing somatic awareness. I am passionate in empowering clients to utilize their strengths while holding them accountable and challenging them objectively, without judgment. I strive to help others find their happiest, healthiest self while committing to holding a safe space for them that facilitates growth and healing
