Beatriz Norona

LMHC

I am a dedicated mental health clinician with a passion for caring. I have been working in the field of mental health for the past 20 years, and have been licensed since 2006. I have experience working with clients with anxiety, depression, grief, family and relationship issues, career changes, and other various stages of life concerns. I have also taken part in the role of a supervisor for master's level students looking to become licensed. I have worked with several populations to include the criminal justice system/ forensics, dual diagnosis clients at a community mental health center, and with severely mentally ill patients on an inpatient unit. I also specialize in crisis intervention, as I worked as a mobile crisis counselor for 4 years. Lastly, and more importantly, I have always maintained my private practice throughout a majority of my career. Through the years, I have seen adults, children, and couples in my private practice. I have experience working with clients who are navigating symptoms of anxiety, depression, and grief. I also specialize in trauma focused therapy, which can also include the trauma of infertility issues and/or pregnancy losses.
