Alyssa Dileo
LMSW
Hello, I’m Alyssa! I am a social worker (LMSW) with ten years of experience in the field, providing individual and group counseling to clients in need. I earned my Bachelors in Social Work from Marist College and my Masters in Social Work from Fordham University. My experience includes working with individuals of all ages, from all walks of life over the past 10 years. I’ve worked in many different clinical settings in that time, including: a residential foster care, a domestic violence organization, various outpatient substance abuse settings, school settings and mental health clinics. In working with individuals, I focus on their unique needs and strengths and utilize the most appropriate evidence based behavioral treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I specialize in addressing anxiety, depression, eating disorders, domestic violence and chronic illness. I hold a safe, non-judgmental and accepting space for my clients, connecting with them warmly and authentically while they work towards meeting their goals. I am fully committed to listen and offer my best professional practices to help you. Thank you for taking the first step and allowing me to be part of your important journey. I look forward to meeting you!
